Probably but I did not tested gnome/kde with one user on 10.2. However I could not use gnome and kde with the same user on suse 10.0. When I set up different font size on gnome then kde font size changed too. And the most irritating was while using kxdocker with fake transparency. The Desktop background was the one set in kde but kxdocker backgrounded its fake transparency from gnome. Believe me it looked really ridiculous.
