The published material is shorter than FTP repository. Retail 6 CD < DVD < FTP The original idea was actually to have delivered the rest of FTP repository on additional DVD. Once upon a time S.u.S.E. made updates on CD set available for order. It was great idea for guys having dialup. The whole job can be done by Novell or third party contractor.
