I gather you have a Modem which connects to a switch. The easiest way I
can think of it make sure your Modem has NAT turned on and that you have
sufficient IP's available in the defined routes in the Modem. We need
more info on the modem. Is is a router too - which it seems to be as you
are connecting it to a switch. You will also have to turn off DHCP in
the modem and define a private default route of 192.168.1.0/24 and a
Gateway IP
Then all need to so is set up every open suse Network card with a static
IP of any of the IP's within the above range. You Modem is designed to
do all this work - I would be inclined not to try to get a server up
that might take weeks when this can be done is 15 mins and is always stable.
