I have a Samsung LE32R 32" LCD-TV and the X server doen't seem to automatically recognize as a proper display. So I've searched the net for some answers but can't seem to get it work. So far I've tried different configurations for the xorg.conf file and none proved to be any good. The TV is connected to the PC through a normal VGA cable (VGA both ends) and here is
[snip] I had similar troubles getting my TV to work with openSUSE.. .someone here pointed me at the nvidia-config application that comes with the nVidia drivers. I ran this (as root), and it set up my TV as a second monitor (on my nVidia 7600) in seconds.. worked perfectly.
