Just a wild guess: Your Thundebird client sends a "reply-to" address with the 
mail - I also guess Gmail doesn't do this.

And I guess this is why you get those mails.

(It also could be that the problem only happend in a period where you used 
Thunderbird or that google is filtering the message [doesn't it has some sort 
of automatic spam filter?])
