Depends on your mileage... I have had to dig into routing tables rather
more times than I prefer to think about.

I would agree that it is not something one would normally need to see.
Unless one really knows what one is doing I would not play with routing
tables except at home, otherwise one could have a very p**d off network
manager planning when and where to defenestrate one...:-)
