Is your DVD drive OK?
I am using CD based installation and i have tried writing the cd in
more than one system so i guess the problem is not with the media. The
reader is same as the writter and works quite fine.
Another possibility;
Which video card are you using?
I am using the Intel DG956RY Mother board, which comes with a Built
in Intel x3000 Graphics accelerator.
