Could try a memory check, there's a boot option on the CD, dodgy RAM
could cause the crash, install in text mode in case there's an issue
with the graphics card driver.
Suse is generally rock solid, never had it fail on me in 8 years!
Its a brand new system. Any how i will try to run ram check.
