The middle mouse sometimes works most of the time requires double click to accomplish an action like paste. This behavior manifest in xterm as well as any other application like firefox or compiz-fusion. I will describe the setup (I use the default created by 10.3 installation) under yast/hardware/mouse model Mouse: IBM TPPS/2 Track Point Checked: Activate mouse wheel Emulate wheel with mouse 2 When I tested and press the middle button 1. the mouse image does not give the indication you press the button 2. The text does not change 3. If I do double click the text show the double click and release. The image does not change 4. The left, right and wheel all work as supposed to both given a graphic indication and a text indication. 5. Under 10.2 it works OK. Using it in application the behavior is the same. To make it work I have to do double click.
