        No joy. Same result. After installing 0.6.0, I can get gnome-xgl-switch
--enable-xgl to work. I have disabled window translucency, and I have
followed both

        What happens is that restarting x with "rcxdm restart" bombs dropping
you to the console. startx as user kills the mouse light and hard locks
the machine. startx as root will get x going, but you could watch grass
grow faster than the display works. I would still like to get Compiz
working if possible, so any other help would be greatly appreciated.
