It's comforting to see I'm not alone in this. I haven't been able to burn a
new DVD-RW for a long time. Strange thing though; I can write (and read)
new data on DVD-RW which have been previously written on (either with
growisofs in the old days or windows) but in the case of a brand new blank,
I end up with a coaster. It appears as if something isn't closed properly as
I can see (visually) that more data has been added to the disk.
I suspect that it is hardware dependant. I would like to explore this a bit
further but so little time. Good luck!
