I'm mentioning this because of some complaints about some USB drives
that don't like Linux. BestBuy and I imagine some other stores have
several of the Seagate FreeAgent Pro external drives on sale. I picked
up the 500G drive today setup with a SATA and USB connection. It also
has a 5-yr. warranty. I don't have an external SATA connection on this
HP box, so am looking for a recommendation for a PCI SATA card that
likes 10.3 that I can add that will give me the external port.

Anyway, I picked up the drive for $154. It formatted with ext3 with no
problems and is seen when it's connected to any of the USB ports.
