I opened OOo-writer to prepare a document. To my surprise, my favorite
font (Arial, 12 point) was not in the font selection drop down box. I'm
(almost) positive that I installed the Microsoft core fonts during the
latest install. A search of the web turned up two web sites, each
offering a howto for installing truetype fonts and each providing a link
to a file containing MS core fonts. However, following the link resulted
in a "file not found" error. Has anyone else run into this problem? Does
anyone have a fix or a workaround?
