Evolution tends to lock-up n me for two reasons: 1) My Inbox is huge, and every 24 hours or so it locks up as if there were a memory leak gone hard. 2) Connecting to Exchange and LDAP servers for addresses is extremely slow, usually, and occasionally locks up. Your issue sounds like the latter. Do you have any remote address book servers? When Evolution locks up, I find everything in the process queue with "evo" in it, and kill all the pids (i.e. "ps auxww | grep evo", then kill all the pids returned). > > It treats a response to a calendar meeting request the same way. Any remote calender servers involved? Access to my companies exchange server for calendar data is slow and sometimes broken for me, but never causes a lockup.
