Sorry to take so long to respond to the list. I attempted Carlos' suggestion, but the config process for the new user was unstable and after several attempts -- the wizard closing at various places -- I came to the conclusion that my whole set up was unstable. I deleted my root directory, reformatted, and reinstalled from a fresh DVD. Same results on both the existing and new user. So I jumped distros and installed Gutsy Ubuntu. Nearly all Evo problems have disappeared. Thanks for trying. Maybe I will come back in a version or two. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
