Hi, Have been living with this for a while, have tried a few things at
different times to fix, but as yet still can't get multiple applications
to successfully access the audio system in SUSE (or probably any other
linux). When I start up I like to have Amarok open and also either Skype
or Gizmo (or both), but have never been able to get everything to work
together. ie one or the other will either complain about inaccessible
resources, or just refuse to start.
There is obviously conflict over access to the audio system.
I am using Suse 10.3 and KDE, but have always had this prob....
Is there any way around this?
