Is it asking for the passphrase for the public key? If so, you need to create another key /without/ entering a passphrase when prompted by ssh-keygen (just hit 'Enter' when prompted.) ~~~~~~ That's exactly what I do, just hit 'enter' when it asks for the passphrase.
