Which proves not to be necessary. After looking more closely at the
files in the SuSE RPM I find enigmail is included and is current (doh!),
so a bug report will probably need to be filed with Novell in first
instance ....

Which is just as well as the documentation suggests it could be the
compile from hell :-)
