I like keeping it simple too. I just think you guys are missing my point. You can be SIMPLE and POWERFUL a the same time. Please, re-read what I've proposed. I've made it very, very, VERY clear that configuration would be just as simple as always. I know that it would be just as simple because in fact, it won't have even changed! The only thing changing is that the internal workings of WebWork now support a much more complex (but powerful) configuration option. But we will mask that from the views.properties folks (I'm one of them!). However, when you step outside the realm of ServletDispatcher (again, I'm throwing OSWorkflow out there, or JIRA's internal command API), supporting a stronger configuration is needed.
Maurice, Hani, do you now see that nothing changes for the end users? Does anyone else not see this? Maybe I have been smoking the pipe for too long, since to me this issue seems like a total no-brainer. It's win-win for everyone. -Pat ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hani Suleiman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, November 04, 2002 12:04 PM Subject: Re: Configuration (was RE: [OS-webwork] Webwork Security Requirements) > Again, as if this hasn't been reiterated enough times. simplicity is > key.
