Re: <property> tag - we have decided (ad infinitum) that it is simple, it
just needs better documentation. We do not want value, render, print or push
tags - they are MORE confusing. Keeping the taglib small and simple IS a
good goal.

Re: views.properties - personally I vote +1 to deprecating it and always
using actions.xml - see next mail.
