I do a few different things depending on the weather, how much I ate that
day, and the time of day:

1) not even use Actions for the deeper layers and just use normal java
objects for the business code
2) use Actions, but not chain and instead call them with GenericDispatcher
(a la OSWorkflow)
3) use actiong chaining
