hi all,
i fixed my problem after being inspired by dicks suggestion. so now my front
action sets its own request object, and all is fine. except:

what is the right way to get the Request object?

when i use ActionContext.getContext().getRequest(), i am told the method is
deprecated, but when i look at the wiki it seems that that is the right way.

sincerely
