Afternoon all.

I'm having difficulties getting a report out of the Jasperreports view
when the view type is PDF and the client is IE6 (or 5 for that matter!).

I've read the message about using GET not POST to make the request but
in this case, I'm not actually sending any form parameters at all, I
simply want to print a fixed report.

All that happens is the action runs and then IE asks to open/save the
PDF, follwed by a message of "Internet Explorer cannot download
jasperPDFTest.action from localhost". Any other format (CSV, HTML, XLS)
works fine.

The same action from Firefox works just fine, trouble is the users all
have IE!

Interestingly, the webwork-example war version of the action (of which
mine is still a direct copy at the moment) works - eh?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ta

Rick Lawson.
