Hi,
you may configure the shortcut for the terminal emulator at
'desktop'-package. By default the short-cut is Ctrl+Alt+x.

use the file manager to find the executable which will be named
gnome-terminal
from OTC wiki you should open the terminal by CTRL+SHIFT+X or
CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+X, but none of the combinations are working.
