working ttsystem, if I reset the device, put it to the USB dock, and
power it up, the firmware puts it directly to the USB target disk
mode, allowing me to access the internal hard disk contents.
What does the device reset do ?
Simply powers it completely off. The next time I power it up, it
boots Linux instead of just waking it from sleep.
I suppose 920 would work the same way, but perhaps you should test...
Certainly, but how ? If I remove/change ttsystem to test if you're
correct, and in fact you're not, then my device is bricked,
something I
would like to avoid. Or is there any test that I haven't think of ?
Just reset, connect to USB, and boot. See if it boots normally or
into USB disk mode.
