This is probably for a newer model. I have a Tomtom Go 920T and it also
runs the old 2.6.13 kernel.

I don't think it is possible to build a vanilla kernel for a tomtom.
You'll need to update all the patches that Tomtom applied on 2.6.13 to
get the kernel to work on the device. This is something I wanted to
start, but never found the time to do so.
