before starting to work on Change Request #4
(http://www.openvas.org/openvas-cr-4.html)
we should think about wether to simply change NTP 1.1/1.2
or whether to be 100% clean and invent a new protocol (e.g. otp '1.0' or
'1.3').
My preference currently is to go the simple way and just say that OpenVAS
does not implement the full set of NTP 1.1/1.2.
Inventing a new protocl generation should probably mean to remove the
current design flaws in NTP and do something real superior.
Any opinions?
