Its easy for you to dislike because you are capable of english language ;-)

Also, it is not so easy-going for some people to discuss
e.g. german IT-Grundschutz in english.
It would automatically lead to half- or full german emails.
I would loose interest if on a english mailing people talking
in another language (I've see this for other projects and that was
not helpful for that project) .
Apart from this: Last time a Live-CD was published in germany
it reached far more 400000 copies (plus the downloads).
Subsequently a number of reviews where published.
The lack of a german (nessus) mailing list was a serious blocker.
Keep in mind, that this CD adressed exactly those groups
not typically present on english mainling lists.
I'd like to avoid this problem this time and give the people a place
to be happy. Of course I don't know whether we can create
the same level or awareness as in 2005 again.
