Despite the latest and greatest versions, installation to Ubuntu 12.04 from
source has brought me to these errors:

I know there's a lot of discussion of the gnutls problem. Was hoping to
avoid the need to downgrade a library. Want to note for the list that the
problem's not solved yet.

No notion whether the XML error is downstream from that, or yet another bug.
