Hello all,
today I was updating NVTs, SCAPDATA and certs and gsad signed my session
off with the message "Login failed. OMP service is down." I tried to
restart the machine where I am running openvas and do the update via
command line. While running the openvasmd --rebuild the operation would be
aborted so I deleted tasks.db, scap.db and certs.db and performed the
synchronization again.
Now my problem is that everything apparently works correctly but openvasmd
wont start according with openvas-check-setup script (running # ps ax |
grep openvasmd I can see the process). I've tried killing and restarting
the process with no results as well as restarting the machine again. Any
ideas?
