I am planning to download and install OpenVAS from http://www.openvas.org/download.html Could you explain the differences in the three types of install sets mentioned in the link and which one is best to install in a VMware virtual image of RedHat Linux 6.0. How does the Virtual appliance run in a VmWare environment. I prefer to install version 6.0 of OpenVAS. Thanks.
