Maybe you really didn't compile ldap support for openvas or syntax is incorrect in file.
check also that openvasmd is linked to ldap: ldd /usr/local/sbin/openvasmd |grep ldap looks like this, if support is enabled: ldd /usr/local/sbin/openvasmd |grep ldap libldap_r-2.4.so.2 => /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libldap_r-2.4.so.2 (0x00007f9eaa449000) check this mail out, it might help you: http://lists.wald.intevation.org/pipermail/openvas-discuss/2011-January/002496.html Eero
