I have a master OpenVAS server and multiple slaves. Is there an easy way to make sure a slave is functioning correctly?
I've created a task and assigned it to one of my slave servers and it seems to be just sitting there in a "requested' state. There is no sign of the task on the slave server web GUI. A tcpdump shows there is traffic between the servers. I have re-checked the login credentials & IP and port and they are correct. I have restarted openvas-scanner, openvas-manager, and gsad on both master and slave.
