this type of "network scan" was not meant. What actually was meant is the networt-scan mode. That mode is about introducing a scan phase where the port scanner could scan multiple hosts before handing over results to the next phase. The standard behaviour is to scan host by host independ of each other. > b) Is there a way to "extract" or to redirect the output of all my used > NVTs into a different file, instead of saving results into the KB (for > example: /temp/nvt_log.txt) ? Meanwhile we are using redis as backend mechanism to handle the KB. There are some notes about redis in openvas-scanner/doc/redis_config.txt I haven't tried things like you describe myself, but it should be possible in principle by using redis the right way. I'd be interested in any such solution :-) > c) What happens OpenVAS internal with the commands "set_kb_item();" and > "get_kb_item();" when the KB isn't saved anymore?? Redis is issued, see above. -- Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner | +49-541-335084-0 | http://www.greenbone.net/ Greenbone Networks GmbH, Neuer Graben 17, 49074 Osnabrück | AG Osnabrück, HR B 202460 Geschäftsführer: Lukas Grunwald, Dr. Jan-Oliver Wagner _______________________________________________ Openvas-discuss mailing list [email protected] https://lists.wald.intevation.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/openvas-discuss
