Hey,
you could also create 1 Task with 18 Targets if you are using the same
Portlist and Scanconfig for every Target. Then you can set the "Maximum
concurrently scanned Hosts"  according to your needs.
Why are you using cronjobs? There are also Schedules where you could
specify a weekly schedule for the task.
