Hello,

I’d like to setup an alert using scp file transfer. In this special case I want
to use CSV format (But thats not the point here… 😊 )

When I create the alert, I’m able to set a folder to wihich the report is
delivered, like „results/“. Then I’ll receive a file called „report“ without
any filetype appended.

I’m also able set a filename like „report.csv“ or however I will name it. (In
this case I wold name it maybe „results/report.csv“ to have it in preferred
folder.

But:

I’d like to give my reports a name like „report-<scanname>-<date>.csv“. So I
think the clue is to use variables like for the scan name or the actual date
etc.

How can I do that?

I’ve tried stuff like $e, found in email alert templates. Or like %H as for
report settings used in „MySettings“

Any hints to get that working? Otherwise have two reports created that way, one
will overwrite the other. That’s what I want to avoid.

w/regards

Olaf
