Greetings from a newbie to the group. May I ask for some help please?
My goal is to have a very simple script around omp or openvas cli without using
the Greenbone framework.
I have followed the steps to install OpenVAS CLI as stated in

<http://www.openvas.org/src-doc/openvas-cli/> But beyond this I couldn't find
much help on how to start the service and scan etc.
I haven't read through the manual my apologies but though I’d check with the
group for the best way to approach.
Any help or pointers is very much appreciated and I shall be ever so grateful
for your kind help.
