Hi, thanks for your response. In relation to your questions: - what distribution
uname -a Linux 4.4.0-96-generic #119-Ubuntu SMP Tue Sep 12 14:59:54 UTC 2017 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS Release: 16.04 Codename: xenial - how is the stuff installed now To install OpenVAS I followed this guide: https://www.vultr.com/docs/how-to-install-openvas-vulnerability-scanner-on-ubuntu-16-04 I was wondering if there is a bit more detailed guide (like the one in the link above) to upgrade openvas? I would not know where to put those packages. Sorry for the basic questions but I am new to openvas and is the first time I try to upgrade.
