I have proxy settings configured but I can see that they are not being honored by openvas.
Im using Greenbone OS 4.1.7 PRETTY_NAME="Greenbone OS 4.1" NAME="Greenbone OS" VERSION_ID="4.1" VERSION="4.1 (ladybird)" >From the OS administration window: Sync proxy is set to the correct proxy. from the CLI: admin@gsm:~$ sudo /usr/sbin/greenbone-feed-sync admin@gsm:~$ sudo /usr/sbin/greenbone-feed-sync PLAY [local] ****************************************************************** GATHERING FACTS *************************************************************** ok: [localhost] TASK: [openvas_scanner | Generate the scanner parameter file] ***************** ok: [localhost] PLAY RECAP ******************************************************************** localhost : ok=2 changed=0 unreachable=0 failed=0 --2018-01-23 21:32:19-- http://dl.greenbone.net/community-nvt-feed-current.tar.bz2 Resolving dl.greenbone.net (dl.greenbone.net)... 89.146.224.58, 2a01:130:2000:127::d1 Connecting to dl.greenbone.net (dl.greenbone.net)|89.146.224.58|:80... failed: Connection timed out. Unfortunately as far as I can see there is no way to set env variables like http_proxy or rsync_proxy on the CLI and have them survive because sudo denies the options to allow those envvar. Ive checked and yes from the cli I'm able to rsync a file from github to the server using the env vars.
