IC. I start from "empty" scan configs, so my mileage varies. I'll add the preference option. >> Any hint on how to collect any not-yet-reported port? ;-) > > What ports are not recognized? From what port scanner? Reported! If you eg. run nmap without service detection, no port will be reported at all, you'll get a empty report. I just wanted to get all open ports in my reports if no script else added a report entry. If there is another solution that for, I'm happy to use that. secpod_open_tcp_ports.nasl only reports TCP ports, no UDP. > I have seen your comments about e.g. pnscan in your NVT. > (# pnscan does not report open ports to the knowledgebase) This comment is misleading: only nmap and amap put some "tag" into the knowledge base which allows to see, they added a report entry. -- Schönen Gruß - Regards Hartmut Goebel Dipl.-Informatiker (univ.), CISSP, CSSLP Goebel Consult Spezialist für IT-Sicherheit in komplexen Umgebungen http://www.goebel-consult.de Monatliche Kolumne: http://www.cissp-gefluester.de/ Goebel Consult mit Mitglied bei http://www.7-it.de
