Thanks for your contribution, very much appreciated. I've already built a version of the GUI to find out what Japanese will look like. One thing I'd like to ask is if you could send the .rc file again in UTF-8 encoding. I'm having trouble decoding it from SJJS. I'm getting several warnings about unrecognized escape sequences and as I plan to switch to UTF-8 encoded language files anyways, that will probably solve the problem. One thing I noticed is that you changed the dialog font name to "MS Pゴシック". Is "Microsoft Sans Serif" installed on Japanese Windows? Using "MS Pゴシック" on an English Windows XP (with Eastern Asian language support installed) makes the dialogs and controls within appear smaller (check the attached image). Using "Microsoft Sans Serif" still displays the katakana correctly while preserving the original size. So, if that doesn't cause any problems on your side I'll use "Microsoft Sans Serif" instead.
