Meeting summary for 18 February 2026:

For a long time now the current forums have been dysfunctional. But
we kept the content around because many people benefit from the
responses given there for common issues.
Nowadays though we have a new forum ready to replace the old one. We
intend to do this replacement this week.
Expect that there will be some downtime with some 'under
maintenance' message for a short while.
After that the new forums should be online. All the data will be
migrated (including the spam).
Our intention is to then cleanup afterwards and improve things
further with a fully functional new forum system.
Since we will be leaving the current LDAP authentication system
behind, everyone will need to reset their passwords.
We will leave instructions and information on the new forums.

So far after release things have been fairly quiet.
ralf_lici pointed out that now the new backported DCO ovpn linux
kernel code is being used instead of the previous DCO iteration, we
want to spend some time on automating tests.
