On December 24 and December 31 there will be no community meetings,
for obvious reasons.

*Updated: Release 2.7*
Release 2.7rc4 is being shipped today.
The stable release is tentatively planned for January 14.

*Updated: forums situation*
Eduardo from website team is currently working on the forums.
Latest news is that a recent database import worked, and various
nonsense HTML tags were cleaned up.
The password reset doesn't work yet so that's being looked into.
Currently this new forum is not available to the public yet.
Current estimate is being able to switch to new forums in Q1 2026
somewhere.

*Updated: mbedTLS*
mbedTLS 4 does things quite differently, and the legacy stuff from
mbedTLS 2 is in the way.
So an effort is underway to rip out the mbedTLS 2 stuff and replace
it with mbedTLS 4 stuff.
