Sorry for not picking up on this quickly...let me cite a specidic example... vars.bat has was installed by OpenVPN but has been modified to contain "my data". Would it e overwritten? And I don't remember if there were any others like that that I changed...I did it, finally got it working, and have forgotten the specifics--if any other files were modified.
