Sorry for may expression, I means this options seems to work on my
deployment where I use TCP mode to connect to my openvpn server.

Even for TCP, if the TCP mss of a connection is not adjusted, the client
can also send packet which will exceeds the mtu of the device passed in the
connection, in this case mssfix should help to solve the issue.
