Hello! I'm using OpenVPN 2.3.4 client on a rooted Android 5.1 smartphone. The interesting configuration is like this:
... remote 1.2.3.4 2345 udp bind lport 5678 ... -> I want OpenVPN to connect to remote port 2345 at IP 1.2.3.4 using the local port 5678 (via WLAN). This configuration works *always* as expected as long as the IP address of the WLAN device is a local 192.168.x address. If it's a global address, OpenVPN suddenly ignores the configured lport and uses random ports again. This happens even if OpenVPN is started the first time after a reboot. The logfile doesn't give any hints about the reason why random local ports are used. It's just happening. Any idea where to look at?
