I started with the configuration file and got to encryption and found the server and client configuration file examples but got stuck at static key and what exactly to do with server and client configuration files.
Generate a static key: $ openvpn --genkey --secret static.key Copy the static key to both client and server, over a pre-existing secure channel. Could someone please explain to me how to accomplish this step? What is a pre-existing secure channel?
