Did some tests (all on Ubuntu Karmic Koala) and came to the same
conclusion: There's an issue with JRuby.

Latest REE is working fine.

JRuby 1.4.0 starts the rack, but there's a java exception:

I have no experience with jruby at all, so I'm lost there. As far as I
understand, 'flock' complains. You could try another storage, but
perhaps someone else may drop some lines about that issue?

PS: Vote for Wayne E. Seguin as Ruby Hero now at
