I set up your example and ran it.

Please note, I have added a NOISY switch for the runner.

The worker picks up the work alright but ends up in an error:

Since the NOISY mode couldn't be used for the worker, I first determined that
the worker actually worked by looking at the ruote_issue_worker folder. I
noticed that the workflow instance was created and also noticed that it ran
into an error (error document created). I enabled the noisy mode to have the
output in the console.
