I think Openwisp should maintain a blog. The blog will not be directly
promoting the project; it will have meaningful content related to the
industry Openwisp's in, maybe things about the internet or about the cause
of internet penetration across the world: anything that might hold some
value to a reader. This way of gaining publicity is formally called content
marketing: the idea is that the blog will engage interest regarding the
project, though it won't directly promote it and the developers among the
readers might end up contributing to the project.
This idea came to my mind after seeing the recent post made by the Openwisp
social media profile sharing a blog link regarding the crisis in Venezuela,
we could be writing something regarding the same on a medium page maybe, or
on our blog, the post will garner publicity and therefore so will Openwisp.
I just wanted to float this.
